PH Pope mobile impresses Pope Francis, going to Vatican.

If unconfirmed report is true, the jeep-inspired pope mobile that was used by Pope Francis on his recent Apostolic Visit to the Philippines from Jan. 15 to 19, 2015 is heading to Rome.

Perhaps, the Pinoy-made car specially designed for the Pope used in Manila carved an impression to the Holy Father.

That strong impression gave former Ambassador Antonio Cabangon-Chua an opportunity for a personal invite by the Pope to the event held at the University of Sto. Tomas sports field on Saturday.

Pope Francis personally thanked Chua who commissioned the vehicle for the purpose.

The converted Isuzu D-Max pickup pope mobile was a joint undertaking of Almazora Motors and Gencars.

Soon the pope car will find its new home in Vatican for future trips of the Pope.
