The street dance parade is still part of the continuing tradition during the celebration of the Peñafrancia feastivities and festivities which ends on Saturday, after the street and fluvial procession.

Francia Falcon Apelo, one of the pillars of the local educational community will be surely missed soon enough. She last handled the post of school counsellor at the Calabanga Polytechnic college (now the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture). Previous to that, she was well remembered at the Calabanga Central Division Pilot School for the several subjects she ably handled.
