Manila, Jan. 26 — A total of 80,693 examinees will be taking the board licensure examination for professional teachers today in 15 testing centers nationwide.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced that the bulk of LET examinees will come from the National Capital Region with an estimated 18,055 examinees, followed by Davao with 8,202, and Cagayan De Oro with 8,152.
Catarman, Northern Samar and Baybay City, Leyte were included as additional testing centers on account of the poor and unstable condition of the buildings and facilities in Tacloban and for the convenience and comfort of the examinees coming from the region.
The examinations in Zamboanga City, Jolo Sulu and Tawi-tawi testing centers, which were recently re-set due to armed hostilities and security issues in the region, will have 3,881; 1,938; and 1,830 examinees, respectively.
Other testing centers include Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Catarman Norther Samar, Baybay City Leyte, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Jolo Sulu and Tawi-tawi
