The Stade Barthélemy Boganda in the capital city of Bangui is the national stadium of the Central African Republic. It is located at Complexe Sportif Barthélemy Boganda and it is used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people. It is named after the former president of the country, Barthélemy Boganda.
After the mass, the Pope is expected to depart for Rome from the Bangui M’Poko International Airport in the capital using the Italian flag carrier Alitalia. Rome and Bangui share the same time zone.
The event will start at about 9:00 AM Bangi time, or 4:00 PM of Monday, Philippine time.
