Quick recall: The 106th birth year of Rufina

FERNANDEZ HERNANDEZ Post 3: On March 14th, 1919, RUFINA (pinang or pining) HERNANDEZ was born to the couple Ciriaco and Demetria Hernandez. She was on the 6th generation (based on our sourced start data of 1784, which could change, as research progress onward) baptized on March 29th of the same year.

The usual practice of the Catholic parishioners in the locality was to have the newborn christened immediately.

I came across one record with a child christened on the birth date. Another newborn was baptized three months after the birth, the longest span so far I have encountered.

By the way, the family paid a total of one peso lumped as ‘Derechos” for the christening, broken down into: Iglesia- 0.20; Es. 0.10; Sem. Pens. Ep. 0.10; and Parr. 0.60.
