Secure internet access may vanish for millions of users by January 1st?

Ever noticed that green lock icon on the upper left side of your monitor when you surf web sites? Secure sites that display the icon give one an assurance that visiting and browsing the site is secure. It is more noticeable on sites like Youtube, Paypal, Google, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

We hold in deep breath the probability that millions of netizens may lose secure internet access beginning January 1, 2016.

It is because a certain level of encryption will expire and lose the support, known as ‘SHA-1 Sunset.’

The probability is dangling, it might go away for a small percentage of people across the globe, and millions of users could lose access to websites because of it as reported by CNBC.
