Is Sen. Grace Poe the new epitome of Pinoy’s fighting spirit? The news leakage out of the Commission on Elections on Tuesday that it disqualifies Senator Grace Poe from running for the presidential elections in 2016 do not deter the embattled senator.
The commission en banc voted Tuesday night to uphold the decisions of the First Division 5-2, and Second Division 5-1 to disqualify the senator, putting behind the motion for reconsideration filed by Poe’s quarters. Almost finally telling the senator she is not a natural-born Filipino citizen and short of meeting the 10-year residency requirement for the position.
