The newest McDonald’s restaurant outlet opening in March 8 will offer its client, possibly, a horse meat burger.
The world famous food chain is opening its newest branch in Kazakhstan, the 120th country in its network, in the capital of Astana.
The store will have a seating capacity good for 200 patrons, is much seen as the first of the sixteen envisioned to be located in the central Asian country.
People in Kazakhstan so loved horsemeat, like the people of Kyrgystan.
Other than the horse meat burger, which was considered because of the strong clamor from the prospective customers, the fastfood outlet will also serve the usual Big Macs, french fries and Chicken McNugggets either thru a drive-through and self order counters.
The owner, Kairat Boranbayev, shelled $3.5 million for the project per information from McDonald’s Russia operations. Boranbayev is well connected in the government with his daughter being the wife of the grandson of Kazakhstan’s president.
Kazakhstan is the world’s largest landlocked country by land area and the ninth largest in the world. It became independent from Russia in December 1991 with its first president still in office.
