LEGAZPI CITY — Fresh from her triumph in the Tokyo pageant, that definitely capped the year’s unprecedented haul of various international beauty titles ever, the newest Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago will be home in the Bicol region before the year ends.
Bea Rose will mark her homecoming with a triumphal parade in the vicinity of Daraga-Albay (Legazpi) district area on the 31st of December.
Miss International 2013 will be a special guest of honor of the province during the New Year countdown and celebration that will culminate in the 4rth Green Christmas and yearly Karangahan Festival.
The first out-of town non-charity visit of the stunning beauty titlist is organized and will be hosted by the provincial government of Albay and the Karangahan Festival committee.
Santiago has been very busy since she was back in Manila from Japan last December 21st. On her arrival, she was given a rousing welcome by the members of the press at the NAIA. The Binibining Pilipinas Charity sponsored her official victory party last December 22nd in Gateway Mall in Quezon city. Then on Monday, she made a courtesy call to President Benigno Aquino III.
On December 25th, Christmas eve, Bea painted smiles to the residents of the Araneta Center Gawad Kalinga village. She also visited the typhoon survivors and beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Hero Foundation, and J. Amado Araneta Foundation. She helped out in distributing gifts and food packs during the Disney on Ice presents Treasure Trove Charity Show.

Presentation of Certificate of Citation by the Provincial Sanggunian of Albay
Presscon with the National/Bicol media
4:30 Visit at the evacuation center (Yolanda victims under an adopt-a-family prog) and children ward at the BRTTH
6:00 Rest, dinner at the hotel
10:30 Meet and greet at the Karangahan Festival Center
