2014 bar exam results released, San Beda law graduate #1

MANILA, March 26 — Supreme Court (SC) Associate Justice Diosdado M. Peralta announced on Thursday that a College of Law graduate of the San Beda College in Manila topped the 2014 Bar Examinations.

Peralta, who chairs the 2014 Committee on Bar Examinations, said that out of 5,984 Bar examinees, 1,126 or 18.82 percent passed with a passing rate of 73 percent.

The top 10 Bar examinees are the following:

— 2. Drilon, Christian — Ateneo de Manila University — 85.45;

— 3. Magalang, Sandra Mae — University of the Philippines — 84.60;

— 4. Bejemino, Mark Leo — University of the Philippines — 84.55;

— Garcia, Gil II — Ateneo de Manila University — 84.55;

— Laco, Reginald — De La Salle Lipa — 84.55;

— 5. Liao, Michelle — University of Cebu — 84.50;

— 6. David, Jose Angelo — San Beda College — 84.35;

— 7. Aumentado, Adrian — San Beda College — 84.35;

— 8. Daway, Rhey David — University of the Philippines — 84.20;

— Diaz, Fideliz Cardellie — Far Eastern University — 84.20;

— 9. Yu, Jamie Liz — University of the Philippines — 84.00; and,

— 10. Delgado, Tristan Matthew — Ateneo de Manila University — 83.95.
