Trust and confidence in the poll body was bolstered with the quick upload of partial but unofficial results through poll watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible voting and print media entities mirroring returns on their websites.
But the national and local elections was held on May 9, 2016, and four days later, the unofficial count is languishing and lagging behind in pace. The trust and confidence which surfaced in the few hours after the elections is slowly waning and getting eroded.
