MANILA, Mrch 1 – Detained Senator Ramon Revilla Jr. is expected to seek a pass to be with son who was reportedly shot and wounded by himself in accident yesterday.
The family lawyer said the shooting was an accident. He clarified that Cavite vice governor Jose Lorenzo “Jolo” Bautista III was cleaning a .40 caliber Glock pistol when the firearm went off.
The younger Revilla sustained a gunshot that went through his upper right chest, was rushed to, and now confined at the Asian Hospital in Muntinlupa. He is alive.
It remains to be known if the elder Revilla can get a pass to be with his son. In the past week, his watch at the detention center were replaced when he allegedly attended the birthday party of detained Senator Juan Ponce Enrile while in the Philippine National Police General Hospital.
