Watch: President Duterte at the San Beda College testimonial dinner

Watch and listen as President Rodrigo Duterte, time and again repeat a very personal story, his journey to the presidency at the testimonial dinner hosted by the San Beda College of Law.

The event was held July 14, 2016 at the Club Filipino in San Juan city. Duterte is the first alumni of the college elected as president of the Philippines.

The president later announced that he asked Ramos to help the country in bilateral talks with China over the recent ruling of The Hague-based Permanent Court of Arbitration.

On Thursday, Filipino fishermen from Zambales were traveling with a news team from ABS-CBN to the Chinese-occupied Scarborough Shoal. A Chinese fishing vessel tried to block them. A Chinese Coast Guard vessel also showed up to enfore an order to the Filipino fishermen to leave.

We focus our attention on the volunteer devotees, the people that paddles manually the boats all stringed together pulling the “vancuerna” or “pagoda” or the barge that carries about one hundred fifty people including the images of the Virgin of Peñafrancia and the Divino Rostro.

Voyadores Adds Color to Peñafrancia Tercentenary

The thirteenth edition of the colorful and now popular “Voyadores festival” was held yesterday at the parochial grounds of Naga Metropolitan Cathedral. The show of colors and body movements through street dancing was focused on the alternative expression of piety and devotion to Our Lady of Peñafrancia (Ina) through music and vibrant dancing.
