Malacanang to give assistance to families of slain soldiers in Sulu.

The government extended on Saturday its condolences to the families of soldiers killed in a series of encounters in Sulu against the Abu Sayyaf Group. The Malacanang official also made an assurance that the government will provide assistance to the families of the slain soldiers.


PH law paves entry of more foreign banks.

Brace for the effect or impact on the Philippine banking system now that the Monetary Board has approved the implementing rules and regulations of Republic Act No. 10641. The law which amends R.A. No. 7721 which was passed way back in May 1994 opens the gate for further entry of foreign banks into the country.
