CamNorte Gov. Tallado and wife back in each others’ arms

Never mind if Camarines Norte Governor Edgar Tallado was ousted as member of the ruling Liberal party. Somehow, he may no longer attempt to reclaim the membership, but for now, he is happy being reunited with his wife after a separation following his scandalous affair with a young provincial employee.

The LP stripped Tallado of his affiliation due to alleged immorality accusation when he and the capitol employee were posted in the social media site in undesirable situation. The exposure led to the parting of ways of the Tallado couple in October last year.

The stripping of Tallado’s party affiliation surfaced after he sought the expulsion from LP of Daet Mayor Tito Sarion for alleged disloyalty and for alleged spreading of rumors in connection with his exposed illicit relationship. But the LP hierarchy gave weight to Sarion’s defense, standing on the immorality issue against the governor.

The controversial and celebrated separation of the Tallado couple did not last long after the governor’s wife, Josefina “Josie” Tallado, 45, returned home a week before the Feb. 14 Valentine’s Day.

A local paper reported that the couple’s only son, Alvin Tallado, was instrumental in persuading his mother to return after fleeing home in October and staying in Metro Manila. It was reported that Mrs. Tallado declined to talk about her past ordeal, saying “it hurts,” and “I just want to forgive and forget in order to move on if only to rebuild my family rocked by the scandal.”

A source said the Tallado couple is back to their normal relationship with wife Josie attending social duties for the governor. (wtih PNA report)
