Calabanga, CAM SUR — The visit of the pilgrim image of the Black Nazarene from Quiapo, Metro Manila culminates today atfer its temporarily residence at the parish church of the Black Nazarene in barangay Binanuaanan Pequeno here from August 25 until 29, 2016.

The visit marks the highlight of the seventh foundation anniversary of the local Parish of Black Nazarene in Barangay Binanuaanan Pequeno of Calabanga.

The Archbishop of Caceres, Most Rev. Rolando Octavus J. Tria-Tirona, OCD, DD, graced the anniversary celebration held at the parish church.

The solemn visit all began when a dedicated group tasked for the purpose departed from Calabanga to fetch the image from the Quiapo church.

When the roundtrip convoy arrived, the first whistle stop was the Metropolitan Cathedral of Naga before breaching the territorial boundary of the Vicariate of Our Lady of La Porteria’s first parish, church of Immaculate Conception in Quipayo.

Next visited was the parish church of St. Peregrine of Laziozi in Barangay Sto. Domingo, then the parish church of Our Lady of La Porteria.

Also visited were the parish churches of Divine Mercy in Barangay Paolbo and Finding of the Holy Cross church in Manguiring.
