There is no question about it. The fast approaching Papal visit in 2015 is catching up by leaps and bounds among Pinoys.
Now add another topping to that. Organizers of the visit launched on Friday a mobile and tablet app for the general public’s consumption.
Chairman of the committee on information and media relations Bishop Mylo Vergara said the application can be downloaded on smartphones for androids and iOS.
The app is linked to the papal visit twitter account @pontifex and the official website, www.papalvisit.ph.
But to our dismay, the weblink to the website returned a disappointing page that says “account suspended.”
Other media organizations are launching their own version not to be outdone by their competition. How’s that?
