Looking back at the Mariners’ Polytechnic ‘OperationTabang’ for Typhoon Victims

A couple of months before the year ended in 2020, the six provinces of Bicol Region were on nature’s wrath and havoc. Super Typhoon Rolly, considered the strongest of the year, was followed by Typhoon Ulysses in a matter of weeks. It capped a season of onslaught of natural disasters.

The typhoons triggered storm surges, inundation, landslides and volcanic mudflows or lahar.
