MANILA, May 16 — State employees with permanent status, even with new hires employed at least four months before May 31st 2015, are poised to receive beginning June 1, 2015 productivity bonus equivalent to one-month salary.
Some P30.65 billion has been allocated under the 2015 general appropriatons for the performance-based bonus of employees under the national government.
Disbursement of the bonus was stated under Executive Order No. 181 that stipulates “one-time disbursement of the one-month salary bonus will be allowed if the government agencies are able to meet at least 90 percent of their 2014 targets under at least two performance indicators namely quantity, quality, or timeliness and for at least one major final output (MFO) under Operations.” It was signed May 15 this year.
The agencies should have also complied with the posting of the Transparency Seal as required by law as well as complied with the posting or publication of the Citizen’s Charter or its equivalent as required under the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007.(PNA)
