In a press conference Wednesday, Kabayan party list Harry Roque wagged his tongue longer than it should. He uttered a sexist remark towards Senator Leila de Lima.
Roque asked why the lady senator, facing drug complaints being pushed by the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte, wanted to get detained at the AFP headquarters rather than in PNP headquarters in Camp Crame.
“Bakit niya gusto ma-detain sa Armed Forcesof the Philippines? Dahil ba madaming lalaki do’n? the honorable congressman asked during the press conference on Feb. 22.

This sexist comment was met with a barrage of reaction from the social media:
