Miss PH Mary Jean Lastimosa among top picks in MU
After the preliminaty presensention last Wednesday of the candidates to the 63rd Miss Universe pageant, Mary Jean Lastimosa of the Philippines garnered more likers.
Will she bring home the crown?
Her performance more than showed her being prepared for the final competition. It was in the swimsuit session that her figure was more than noticed. Some Miss Universe afficionados have placed her on top of their winning lists after the night’s event.

The 63rd Annual Miss Universe Pageant will be airing live from the Florida International University Arena in Doral, Miami, Florida on Sunday, 8 p.m. ET on Jan. 25 (or 9 AM Monday, Philippine time).
The top 15 contestants of the preliminary round hosted by current titleholder Gabriela Isler of Venezuela will be joining Miss Universe 2014 live finale when the interview round would be held.
The dress rehearsal will be held at the FIU Arena on Sunday, Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. The Final Dress Rehearsal takes place before the live broadcast.
The finale will be hosted by MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts and Today’s show anchor Natalie Morales while Miss Universe 2013 third runner up Ariella Arida of the Philippines will be the online backstage host.
Judges for this year’s event include boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, shoe designer Kristin Cavallari, actor William Levy, reality star Lisa Vanderpump and fashion journalist Louise Roe.
