Isolated rain showers, cold weather over many parts of PH.
MANILA, Jan. 5 — Parts of Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Northern Mindanao on Monday will have light to moderate rains due to the tail-end of cold front, according to state weather agency PAGASA.
PAGASA also said Luzon will experience cold weather due to northeast monsoon or “hanging amihan.”
The seasonal winds from the northeast is the cold air from mainland China that starts to blow into the country beginning every late October.
Metro Manila temperature on Monday will range from 20 to 30 degrees Celsius while Baguio will have 12 to 23 degrees Celsius.
In its Monday forecast, PAGASA said Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Aurora province will be cloudy with light rains while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
The rest of the country will be having partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to north with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
