Unsolicited opinion: Let the people decide – Ramos
If former Philippine President Fidel V. Ramos will have his way, he will allow the candidacy of Grace Poe Llamanzares and Rodrigo Duterte unhampered.
He made the statement when asked about the cases filed on disqualification for Senator Poe and Davao city mayor Duterte who are running for president. Ramos expresed an unsolicited opinion that Filipinos should be given the chance to decide on their qualifications.

He cautioned that on election day, the people may find only one candidate for the presidency with the on-going process of elimination of candidates.
“Let the people decide,” Ramos said.
Both Poe and Duterte are receiving good feedbacks from their supporters and finish on top of surveys released.

Other than the candidacies of Poe and Duterte, also on the disqualification radar is Vice-President Jejomar Binay.
There is the unstoppable hot rumors alleging that Malacanang and the Liberal Party is behind the DQ cases of the presidential front runners.
Malacanang supports the candidacy of many times survey tail-ender, and less popular, Mar Roxas which many perceive will benefit if popular candidates are finally disqualified.
It must be recalled that Duterte’s substitution for Martin Diño for president under the PDP-Laban is allegedly defective. Diño filed his COC for Pasay City mayor.
Non-supporters of Duterte got offended with his cussing in public rallies while many believe Poe is riding on the ‘popularity’of his adoptive father, movie icon Fernando Poe, Jr.
