MANILA, Feb. 23 — Oil derived-products are on the side of price increases with two retailers leading the pack.
Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. will increase pump prices of gasoline by 85 centavos per liter and diesel by 80 centavos per liter on Tuesday.
Shell will also hike its kerosene prices by Php 1 per liter at 12:01 a.m. on Feb 24.
Phoenix said it will move prices on Tuesday at 6 a.m.
According to the Department of Energy’s (DOE) oil price monitor for Metro Manila as of Feb. 17, diesel is presently sold from Php 27.10 to Php 30.45 per liter, while gasoline is offered at Php 36.95 per liter.
The DOE has yet to indicate how much is the prevailing kerosene prices. (PNA)
