Three legal officers of the college offered settlement terms and negotiation options but to no avail.

The disconnection operations lasted for about 2 hours. as the APEC team cut off the main service line from the post and made sure that the college will not be able to reconnect the service afterwards.

The school now has limited power supply from its standby generator which is not enough to power all the facilities including laboratories and simple office transactions.

The management of Mariners claim that APEC’s move was illegal since there was no prior or advance notice of disconnection.

Meanwhile, service areas in the first district of Albay province is in power blackout while the 2nd district will have no electric service beginning on the 15th of this month. Sources said that the National Power Corporation has ordered the power interruption for failure of APEC in the settlement of outstanding bills.
