Election 2016: Poe-Escudero, Roxas-Robredo teams filing COCs, Duterte in?

Senators Grace Poe Llamanzares and Francis “Chiz” Escudero are jointly filing today their Certificates of Candidacy for president and vice-president, respectively, at the national offices of the Commission on Elections in Intramuros, Manila.

Not to be out done, the Liberal Party official standard bearers Sen. Mar Roxas and CamSur 3rd district congresswoman Leni Robredo are also filing their COC’s. The Rox-Rob, or Ro-Ro team are flaring their activity with a 7 AM mass at the Manila Cathedral and a side stop at a porridge or lugawan station at Plaza Roma. Then at 9:30AM, will proceed to the Comelec.

But what could steal the thunder from the two team is the supposed change of heart and mind of the hesitant Mindanao candidate from Davao city, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte. Earlier in our previous posts, the mayor has been
on a see-saw on whether to run for the highest national office in the land. It seems that everything has been settled now.
