NASA honors first man on the moon with Tranquility Base.
For those who were already around that time, do you still remember the first man who landed on the moon?
Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man to have set foot on the lunar surface on July 20, 1969, is being remembered with a song.
The tribute, sort of, titled “Tranquility Base,” is an original song honoring the departed moon walker on the first anniversary of his death, August 25, 2012.
The song is performed by Eric Brace for Red Beet Records. It is NASA’s way of remembering Neil.
