Amazing how government funds and technology work for the betterment of the people. Check out this Youtube video of how Russia is rushing the construction of the 19-kilometer bridge that will link the Crimean peninsula to mainland Russia.
In the homefront, Bicolanos, particularly those in Catanduanes and neighboring areas can only wish that the Friendship Bridge earmarked to link the island province with Caramoan peninsula of Camarines Sur will become more of a reality than a dream.
According to RT the 19-kilometer long main bridge is expected to open in December 2018 and will connect the city of Kerch in Crimea to mainland Russia, thereby effectively making a by-pass of Ukraine. It said that workers are building temporary bridges that will carry construction machinery and deliver materials to the Kerch bridge site. Of the three bridges planned, one is already working, RT added.
RT said that the project is being connected to a new 40-km four-lane highway with five interchanges with the Krasnodar region in the south of Russia.
