Earlier, last week, the MIAA first confirmed that the cornerstone member of Airbus’ all-new A350 XWB Family, will be in Manila from May 20 to 23 (Wednesday to Saturday).

The arrival of the newest aircraft marked a series of demonstration flights and ground displays for Philippine clients, targeting Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific with Airbus executives set to meet officials of PAL and Cebu Pacific.

A350 has wings and fuselage made of carbon fiber and designed to save up to 25 percent in fuel consumption while serving long-range routes. The jetliner accommodates 315 passengers in a two-class configuration, with a range of up to 7,750 nautical miles. The interior cross-section for the A350 XWB Family will allow operators to accommodate economy class passengers at eight-, nine- or 10-abreast arrangements. (Photo from PNA report by Azer N.
