iREHISTRO (http://www.comelec.gov.ph/?r=VoterRegistration) is an online page that provides accomplishing forms for voter registration related process. The downside of this system, prospective applicants will still have to appear personally at Foreign Service Posts or Mobile or Field registration sites, to sign and submit their duly accomplished printed form, and for biometrics capturing. The processed applications still have to be approved by the Resident Election Registration Board.

Overseas Filipinos in areas mentioned above have the option of filling up the forms while in their homes, workplace, internet café, etc. The optional appointment feature of the system allows registrants to schedule personal appearance at a registration site. It can in one way accurately inform the Post on how many registrants to expect on a given day, thus giving them a heads up on how to adjust for the walk-ins.
