Warning: Brutal Mamasapano massacre video becomes viral in social media. Viewer discretion advised.
MANILA, Feb. 11 — Malacanang is more interested at suppressing information about the brutal Mamasapano massacre of the fallen44 by the joint forces of the MILF and the BIFF.
On Wednesday the Palace reacted to the viral video on a social media platform showing a wounded uniformed man on his back in the killing field being shot at a close range.
Malacanang wants the gruesome footage taken off the social media.
Also shown in the video were several other bloodied men wearing camouflage uniforms, as well as the looting of vests and ammunition.
Joining the orhestrated outrage of the video is the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) which on Wednesday said that this incident shows the “gory, brutal and merciless killing of wounded and defenseless men in uniform.”
“It is very disturbing to say the least. It is clear proof of the brutal execution of the police officers that fateful day of Jan. 25,” AFP spokesperson Col. Restituto Padilla said.
Other parts of the video also show dead SAF men lying in the cornfield in Mamasapano, Maguindanao while another part shows fallen police officers being stripped of their combat equipment and belongings.
While above footage is not the viral video, still the bloody murder of the Philippine National Police special Action force on the hands of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters need justice not suppression of truth and information by the government.
