Developers and stakeholders of the newest commercial development in the city of Legazpi and in the province of Albay are in  the upbeat mood.  Designed to make a “soft” opening this December, the Embarcadero is a 12,000 square meter commercial area (129,166.93 square feet)  of mix retail, market, restaurant and shops which will be complimented by a 14,500 square meter area (  156,076.7 square feet) of waterfront hotel, spa and convention center.  In the location will also rise a building that will house an information technology park for business process outsourcing.

The complex is a major waterfront development in the city designed for both local and international tourists alike.  It maximizes the uniqueness of the location, the site fronts the main harbor of the city with views of the magnificent Mayon volcano. Next, we’ll check on few details of the project and its impact on the residents.

great shot and I love it so much

  4. Question is…do you agree to have that place be commercialized? The place looks remote and simple but the beauty remains. Well I hope everything will go well.

  6. Thanks for stopping by the Farm, Japa; I’m vastly interested in economies in the Far East (almost moved to the Philippines as a child, but ended up in Taiwan instead)–and problems/solutions associated with development. I’m glad to know about your blog. Lovely photo as well.
